Account Supervisor

Job Description


Cannonball is seeking a strong, experienced Account Supervisor to join our account service team.

This position oversees and is accountable for all work produced by the agency, including creative, digital, strategic, and production deliverables, ensuring excellence in execution while providing leadership in the development of high-quality client service.

This role builds strong partnerships with clients and manages internal, cross-functional teams. The right candidate will display polished communication skills, be an active listener, have project management experience, and be a proactive problem solver.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and build strong client relationships.
  • Develop briefs and translate client needs into clear internal direction.
  • Draft agendas, status reports, proposals, and client correspondence.
  • Manage projects from start to finish including setting up kickoffs, developing timelines, establishing and leading internal and client reviews, and tracking final delivery of assets.
  • Lead cross-functional internal teams including creative, production, and vendor partners.
  • Manage paid media creative development workflows, including brief intake, review routing, approvals, and asset delivery.
  • Maintain and optimize project management processes that ensure timelines remain accurate and aligned with client needs.
  • Consolidate client feedback into clear next steps and guide teams through revisions.
  • Ensure final creative is QA’d and delivered to clients and media partners on schedule.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights.
  • Manage client financials including billing, estimates, and project tracking.
  • Supervise and mentor team members and encourage training opportunities as needed.
  • Be proactive in identifying growth opportunities for clients.
  • Travel as necessary in support of client needs and projects.


Ideal Candidates Should Possess the Following Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Journalism, Advertising, Communications or Marketing (or similar).
  • Minimum of 5 years agency account service experience required.
  • Must live in the St Louis metro area (or be willing to relocate). This position requires 3 days a week in the Cannonball office.


Preferred Experience Includes

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presenting information clearly to internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to foster strong client relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and project management tools.
  • Experience with digital marketing including paid social, display, video, and campaign execution.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
