Gathering the best and brightest to solve our deepest societal issues isn’t a novel claim in higher education. But Cannonball realized that WashU’s commitment to empowering change through collaboration set it apart from competitors – a message that could drive the university’s first-ever brand campaign.
Crafting a Campaign Narrative
Cannonball worked alongside the university’s internal marketing and communications team to develop a brand narrative and creative campaign that would reflect WashU’s key strength – a culture of collaboration that fuels world-changing discovery.
While the anthem video serves as the campaign’s rallying cry, Cannonball also created a series of story-specific vignettes that focus on WashU’s far-reaching network of learners, thinkers, leaders and doers taking on global challenges as one team.
A New Era
Launched during the first week of the fall semester, this ongoing campaign will usher in a new era for WashU. One that energizes its leaders, instills pride in its community and further elevates university reputation and name recognition.
