Picking
Up The Court

Natria

Enterprise is known as the rental car company that “picks you up.” Cannonball’s content strategy for the brand is to tell stories that pick you up emotionally – specifically stories rooted in the communities in which Enterprise employees work and live.

The Campaign

Cannonball introduced Enterprise to Project Backboard, a non-profit organization that transforms communities by turning run-down public basketball courts into true works of art. Project Backboard uses Enterprise rental trucks to haul supplies. The idea was to team up and create a landmark art court in Enterprise’s home city of St. Louis, bringing people together and inspiring hope in a struggling neighborhood. We brought the story to life through digital video content, social media and an Enterprise.com hub where we profiled the neighborhood, artist and volunteers.

The Court

The marquee piece of creative was the court itself. “The largest art court in the country”, the Enterprise-funded court became a viral topic in both art and basketball communities, earning organic international praise by Dezeen, Artsy, Bleacher Report, CityLab and Architectural Digest, who listed our court as #1 of the “10 Best Designed Basketball Courts in the World.”
